Who we are
The first word that comes to mind when listening to Tansy is “lush”. Surrounded by fields of rich string and horn arrangements, soaring vocal harmonies, and a soulful back beat, it’s a sound that hooks listeners from the beginning.
Synthesizing the warmth of a classic RnB feel with the bold harmonic statements of today's jazz, Tansy has crafted a fresh sound that’s garnered a small but dedicated worldwide fanbase.

Tansy is the brainchild of Will Feinberg and McKenna Alicia. They met by chance in New Orleans in 2017 when Will was called last minute to sub on piano for a small duo gig of McKenna’s. The musical connection was immediate and the pair spent the next two years writing and refining their sound.
Backed by a powerhouse band of the city's rising stars, Tansy recorded their debut album, Full Bloom and released it to critical acclaim in April 2020.
Since releasing Full Bloom, Tansy has been hard at work writing new music and performing. Tansy debuted at Speed of Light Virtual Music Festival in October 2020. After a string of single releases over the following two years, Tansy released Deep End EP in spring 2023. Since then, Will has relocated to join McKenna in Los Angeles where they are currently working on their sophomore album.
